DAY 239, SUNDAY, JAN 9, 2011 PART 3

It never ends. Got home, put the groceries into the refrigerator, sat down to do the numbers and things, and relaxed. At 4:30 it was time to prep the early dinner. Opened the freezer and it was not cold. Opened the refrigerator, and it was not cold. We need a new fridge. Yay, something to buy tomorrow. How great is that. Lost all the frozen stuff that was Sugar Free Ice Cream. Melted. Sue remembered that the new wine cooler was a refrigerator. She took out the wine, and loaded in the perishables. The frozen stuff that could be saved is in a big cooler, on the back deck. It is 22 degrees out there, so all is well until manana. Never fails.
All good on the weight front, too pissed off to eat. Need a bottle of water, have to go outside to the cooler. So happy. Enjoy the night ....

OMG!!! All the ice cream is gone?!?! At least the constant going back and forth to the deck can be counted as exercise, right? Right????? ;)

Yes, when it rains it pours, it seems.

I love, "...too pissed off to eat."

Now THAT is a DIET!

Could be worse, it could be summer and all the perishables down the drain. Or you'd be inviting the neighbors over for a cleaning out the frig party.

Awww, I hate when that happens!

Maybe the fridge can be fixed instead of having to buy new. Unless you're due for a new one, of course.

Yay, 22 degrees. :D

That blows. Damned fridge will always die at the worst possible time and always right after you have loaded it full of food and ice cream.

Have fun shopping for a new one. There are some really nice fridges out there, nowadays.

Sorry to hear this. Ours went Sat before Christmas, they repaired it on Tues but we lost all the food and had to do the shopping all over again. I'm still going to get things and finding out that i forgot to replace the item. Good luck shopping tomorrow.

That's definitely a thing that would screw up my day/mood! Sorry. :(
You've got the dead apppliances, we've had consecutive plumbing issues. First a major clog...that took a while and the guy went outside and even checked teh septic area. Then a burst pipe and the plumber was here until 10:30 pm Sat, and we had no water from 4pm through that time. Now, the laundry room has a leak.

What the hell bad star landed on our plumbing? Maybe it's related to your refrigerator bad star.

Here's to getting a refrigerator that will work even better.

Nite nite...
