DAY 237, FRIDAY, JAN 7, 2011 PART 2

As with many Challenges I figure, there is some scrambling at the start. People drop out, and people drop in. The list below is up to date as of right now. The fluid requirements are here for the newbies and they are accurate until weigh in on Sunday. After sending me your weigh-ins on Sunday there will be new exercise packs coming. Week 2 is a little harder than week 1, as we progress of course. There are 66 entrants as of right now, and we are going to combine to lose 3,000 pounds together by May 1. There will be bumps, and I am sure not everyone will stay the course. Boredom, lack of will power, needing change, whatever the reason, not everyone will succeed. We will try our best, and this is not a Contest, it is for our health.I am still reading and taking notes on the funniest blogs in fat land. The things I find humorous are not mean, and I never pick on the mentally unstable. You all have your favorites to read that you must see as pure crazy. I have those favorites as well. They are off limits, as picking on the mentally challenged is mean and not for me. If you appear to be sane, then tune in later.
On the Challenge front, we welcome back Kelly and Jess. Kelly is with us now for real, and Jess is wavering with my support and hope. Kristen joins us, and if nothing else, we will have some witty posts to read about dealing with poop, kids and burittos. Looking forward to her success. The other Kelly, with the Vlog, well her name is listed, but she has just gotten the WW Plus packet. She will have to make a decision soon about what to try. Martha is new to this neighborhood, and Stacy E is back hoping I dont force her to eat anything that swims. One can pray for that. Late entries are John O and Eileen. Nice to have another man around.
As part of the Challenge is total emersion and committment from us heffers, it has been odd that I have not heard anything from a few people out there. Check in every now and then via email. I hope we are all still around this week, as the weigh in is 48 hours away, by Noon on Sunday.
After speaking to my exercise Guru, her decision is to cut off admittance to the Challenge on Saturday, the latest. EMAIL ME if you have decided to join at this late date. It will be a Challenge, and the real fun starts as we get used to the lower calories and water. Surprises are always fun..

Can't wait to see next weeks exercise packets. I enjoyed this one while I was able to do it. Hoping the toe will be better on Monday. I miss the treadmill but either way I will get some exercising in. I think your experts hit on a very doable exercise plan as far as I'm concerned. It challenges me but doesn't overwhelm me.

Damn, if I had known getting this fat would require over 200 ounces of water a day..that would almost be a big enough deterrent to not get fat! Getting it in though, I have finally found my watering groove! How do I find the blogs of the new challengers so I can read their blogs?

Not wavering as much as you think. Successfully finished my first 1200 calorie day yesterday and did the exercises the day before...already seeing results. <3

Checking in! Didn't want you to think I had fallen by the wayside. I didn't have any questions (pretty straight forward) and am doing well. I will be there on Sunday to post my loss!!!

Welcome to all the new folks. :)

Oh, Allan, I hope I am not one of the crazies you are talking about. LOL

Have a good Friday. Even though I'm going out to a Mexican restuarant tonight I think I've planned ahead enough so that I can stay within my calorie range today. If you have ANY advice for eating at a Mexican restaurant, please share. Planning on getting chicken fajitas and just eating the chicken and some beans. I've also allowed myself 10 chips and some salsa but I might cut that out just to be on the safe side.

Time to go exercise. Again. 8-/

Call me a ditz, but I can't find what Stage 1 "food" allowances are. I know it says "liquid only meal plan" and I see Stage 2 but no Stage 1. I really want to try this. My church does a modified Daniel's Fast every January, I say modified because our pastor says, "no bread, no meat, no sweet". A true Daniel's Fast is only uncooked fruits and veggie and only water to drink. He gives us grace to do what we can, it is between us and the Lord. But I think that this would be an ideal time to start this.

Thanks,
Anna

You can tell them no tortillias, sour cream, etc so that stuff doesn't even come out. No resisiting temptation if it's not there.

I am so glad we are getting Jess and Kelly back in the fold AND welcome newbies!

1200 calories isn't even a thing for me anymore. Once you get over the "I can't do thats" then you know anything is possible. May 1st is going to be a glorious day.

1200 calories rocks six ways to heaven, I love it.

And yeah, I do have a few weight loss blogs that I read solely for entertainment purposes, does that guarantee me a place in hell?

PS. I'm definitely mentally unstable. Heh heh.
